We are looking for a BI consultant with a background by 3-6 yrs of prior experience and strong knowledge of SQL 2005 SSIS, data warehouse, ETL framework, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have a strong experience with ETL, SQL 2005 SSIS, and knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence PerformancePoint Server 2007 CTP1 and other Microsoft BI applications.

Our consulting team is directly involved in customer site installations, software configuration, project planning, project management, business process improvement, and on-site training. This position allows you to use your creativity, participate in software development, as well as assist in configuring and testing of new systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other BI team members, Database Administrators and members of the user community, in analyzing and integrating data from various corporate and disparate applications, and in developing and supporting the corporate finance data warehouse and enterprise reporting needs
• Working with Business Analysts to understand the report requirements to generate reports
• Develop and execute Analysis Services OLAP Cubes
• Implement, deploy, and monitor validation processes to ensure data migration is appropriate as required.

Requirements include:

• Experience of Microsoft technologies (SQL Server 2005 and Analysis Services) and deep understanding of optimizations on both Relational and Multi-Dimensional databases
• Knowledge of Microsoft PerformancePoint Server 2007 CTP1, Business Modeler (Biz#) and design is a PLUS. Necessary training will be provided.
• Microsoft SQL Report Services
• Excellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Microsoft SharePoint Portal (MOSS 07) 
• Significant hands-on ability to create all phases of the ETL process
• Ability to identify opportunities to optimize the ETL environment
• Microsoft certifications a plus (i.e. MCDBA, MCAD, MCSD, MCSE, etc.)
