Project management and coordination within Sound Transit functions especially
Marketing, Communications and Information Technology.
Coordination with Sound Transit partners and vendors
Resource management
Selection of tools
Minimum Qualifications:
_ Experience creating a customer facing web site
_ Experience leading a team composed of functional and technical team members
_ Experience leading and coordinating vendors and partners
Experience:
Managing complex web projects
Demonstrated application of project management processes to a major implementation of
an externally facing web site
Using the full complement of project management and professional management tools
and techniques as well as technical concepts to effectively plan a project, solve complex
problems, and manage projects in creative and effective ways.
Leading and motivating teams/individuals; managing internal and external resources;
organize and review the work of assigned staff.
Defining a detailed project scope and controlling scope as a means of achieving overall
project objectives.
Preparing detailed project schedules and utilizing as the primary work plan.
Proven ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals, including Marketing,
Communications and Information Technology teams
Managing internal and external clients and partners
Knowledge of:
Strong knowledge of customer facing website design
Strong functional knowledge of web content management systems
Project management processes, framework, techniques and principles.
Principles and practices of project budget preparation and administration.
Software Development Lifecycle.
Highly Desired:
Specific experience managing public sector website design projects
Applying strong interpersonal techniques to work with diverse work groups and
individuals
Demonstrated positive customer service orientation with both internal and external clients
